OMC Evinrude Johnson Lever Control

The part number 390610 refers to a Johnson Evinrude side control box shift lever. It's used in many OMC side-mount remote controls with key switches, typically from 1982 through 2006. This lever is also sometimes sold as part of a control box gear set that includes the throttle plate as well. The shift lever is a critical component for changing gears on the outboard engine. These levers are no longer directly available from the manufacture, but aftermarket replacements are widely available.
